According to Secretary Villareal, Mexico closely monitors its agenda in the APEC forum. He expresses his economy's interest in seeing advancements toward the Bogor Goals. He says this is important as the region gets involved in trade agreements like the TPP. "How to really conduct this in a region that today represents USD 16 trillion of trade of which 65% happens within (the region)," he says. He also talks about how to make negotiations more inclusive so that SMEs can enjoy benefits from international trade.
