This report represents the first stage of the Tourism Working Group's (TWG) project on tourism and environment. As part of its work on tourism and environment, the TWG agreed to hold a symposium of experts and APEC members to discuss the findings of a consultant's report and consider the future implications and challenges for environmentally sustainable tourism in APEC member economies.
