Description
In coordination with their affiliates in APEC member economies, Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages, Inc. (TESOL) created a set of teaching tips that address several 21st Century Workplace Skills. The teaching tips emphasize the skills necessary for success in a multinational business culture, including cross-cultural communication, diplomacy, and team building. Additional tips consider sustainable growth (green business), while others identify obstacles and opportunities for women. These tips help learners deal with the complexities of the global marketplace by focusing on core competencies, such as working as part of a team, solving problems, showing initiative, and asking questions.
