The 2013 Annual APEC Study Centers Consortium Annual Conference was held on 26-27 July in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Conference Agenda was organized in three main panel sessions based on the APEC Indonesia 2013 priorities:
On Attaining the Bogor Goals, researchers discussed various issues from the need for a new vision for APEC’s future to strengthening APEC’s new Individual Action Plan Process to attain the Bogor Goals in 2020.
On Sustainable and Inclusive Development, research papers were presented on a wide variety of topics from labour laws as a foundation for women’s economic empowerment to challenges and opportunities for the APEC Model of Green Growth.
On Promoting Connectivity, topics discussed included port efficiency and promoting institutional connectivity through supply chain and trade in services.
