The Gear Marking Compendium for the Marking of Fishing Gear in the APEC Region is an accompanying guide to the Best Practices Guide for the Management of Fishing Gear of gear marking schemes specific to the APEC region and APEC member economies. The Compendium builds on the Global Ghost Gear Initiative Best Practice Framework for the Management of Capture Fisheries (C-BPF) and the Global Ghost Gear Initiative Best Practice Framework for the Management of Aquaculture Gear (A-BPF), as well as the UN Food and Agriculture Organization Voluntary Guidelines for the Marking of Fishing Gear.
