The APEC BEST Award program seeks to distinguish, promote and encourage the best practices of women-owned SMEs across the APEC economies through the collection and systemization of the experience of individual economies and, particularly, through organization of a competition of the APEC best women’s projects and their corporate success stories.
This catalogue gathers nominee profiles from the entrepreneurial competitions of individual APEC economies which competed in the framework of the BEST Award. It also compiles information on women-owned business models, competencies, competitive advantages and tangible and non-tangible assets considered as necessary prerequisites for women entrepreneurship development.
