The survey report aims to provide insights into the current state of implementing inclusive and responsible business and investment (IRBI) across the Asia-Pacific region. It presents important findings related to the level of awareness, challenges, and, most importantly, opportunities among public and private sector actors for implementing IRBI in the region. The report also offers a range of recommendations, grouped into six common themes: the need to strengthen inclusivity, enhance law enforcement, improve the legislative framework, build capacity, foster collective commitment, and establish effective monitoring and evaluation. The findings reinforce the importance of spearheading constructive dialogue and fostering cross fora collaboration and partnerships across the APEC region.
