The Roadmap to Advance Dengue Prevention & Control in APEC Economies 2026 – 2030 aims to accelerate domestic and global progress towards dengue prevention and control, empowering member economies to shift towards a more proactive, coordinated, and context-specific approach. It champions long-term planning, risk reduction, and health systems strengthening to reduce dengue’s public health and economic toll. By offering a comprehensive range of actions, the Roadmap offers guidance to endemic economies to fortify existing strategies and integrate novel tools, while providing recommendations to non-endemic economies to strengthen their preparedness and prevent future local transmission. The project aims to enhance cooperation across member economies to promote best practices and joint learning for enhanced regional resilience against dengue, aligning with global efforts towards zero preventable dengue deaths by 2030.
