This report summarizes the outcomes of the APEC Information Sharing Best Practices Workshop on Merger Control Regimes (MCR) held in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea in March 2018.

The workshop provided a wide range of information about merger review processes within APEC member economies that include basic principles for the design and application of merger review, lessons from practical experience, and challenges facing regulators in developing effective MCRs.
