The COVID-19 pandemic showed that educational systems were not prepared for the shift to online learning. However, several innovative solutions were developed in order to try to address challenges faced. The report reflects project´s activities that sought to identify innovative solutions and encourage the use of technology at educational institutions in the APEC economies through their promotion. It also sought to promote gender equality by prioritizing solutions created by women.
By sharing five most voted innovation solutions for education, the project hoped to address the challenges posed by the pandemic and to improve the quality of education for all students in the APEC region.
